Air New Zealand - Cathay Pacific Alliance Reauthorisation 2014

On 26 August 2015, the Minister of Transport announced his decision to reauthorise the North Asia Alliance Agreement between Air New Zealand and Cathay Pacific until 31 October 2019.
The alliance has been in place since 30 January 2013. Under the alliance, the two airlines have coordinated their capacity, scheduling and pricing on services between Auckland and Hong Kong, and ‘feeder routes’ (the New Zealand domestic part of a route that connects to a flight between Auckland and Hong Kong).
