Getting support from our ministry

We are the government's principal transport adviser. We help the Government give effect to its policy by supporting the development of legislation, regulations and rules.

What we do

If you want to understand more about transport regulation and policy — for example, aviation regulations — you will find a lot of information on this website. We publish resources on policy and legislation, and datasets you may find useful.

Data and insights

We have also created a resource giving information some sources of government funding.
